I enjoyed the walk through not only your personal ecosystem but how you go about evaluating it. I think we all have had the moment of thinking is all this necessary? I know I have, and it’s good to be reminded that my ecosystem is there to serve me, not anyone else’s ideas of what it should be.

my notebook craze is flaring up again and i’m so tempted to try some e-ink notetaking tablets but not only are they as expensive as a small spaceship but I’m worried I won’t use them! i’d like to reintroduce a simple notebook/planner system again, for clarity, for focus, for the tactility of pen on page in a world that asks so much speed of us. this is a great rundown and i am sure to take some inspiration from it, though maybe not 10 notebooks to start :>

This makes me want to romanticise my notebooks again. Beautiful balance between structure and self-reflection.

I love this, I currently have manyyyy notebooks/journals. I have one for self study, noticing, revelations about myself. I have a learning/regular journal, which is similar but more broad. I have a digital journal on good notes on my iPad.

I need to look into this paper republic. I want a journal for everyday, that combines space for bullet/junk journaling and column style creative writing

My journaling and planning system is a mess (but I'm not in a good mental health state so that tracks) so I may need to plan to do this :)

Fear of wasting pages in a new journal is so real!! Or just fear that I’m not locked into a new system or approach. I had that when I started my commonplace journal.
