I never used to be someone who tracked my consumption or creation but in a desperate effort to do anything to distract my mind over the past 2 weeks, I decided to go through everything that I loved in 2024 and create a list. I didn’t include clothes, beauty, or things—let me know if you’d like a round up of all the products that I loved in 2024. This list contains more books, films, shows, music, and content (both my own and others) that I loved from 2024.

Now knowing that I want to start doing these yearly roundups, I’ve included pages at the start of my journal to track these things as I go. If you also journal daily, consider adding some pages to track your own consumption.

Non-Fiction Books

I'm honestly shocked at how little non-fiction I read this year. This will definitely change for 2025

Fiction Books

I actually feel like I didn't read that many books that I LOVED in 2024. However, there were some killing guilty-pleasure type books though.

Music

I'm honestly just happy that Drake wasn't on my Spotify Wrapped again. Also clearly Billie Eilish took over my life this year.

Movies

I love movies, don't get me wrong but I definitely don't spend a lot of time watching them. Which is silly because films + shows are a form of art and something I can definitely take inspiration from. I'm working on unlearning the guilt I feel when I sit down to watch something.

Content

My own content

This is really a list of content that I felt really proud of. Not including short-form.

Do you keep track of your consumption and creation year over year? I feel pretty excited to actually start tracking this throughout the year. Being able to look back and see what type of content I loved through different years of my life is actually such a fun way to evaluate my interests in different eras.

Try it out this year and let's regroup in 2026.
